Between March 6th and September 17th 2010 the Hermitage Amsterdam presents its latest exhibition 'Matisse to Malevich. Pioneers of modern art from the Hermitage'. For this exhibition roughly 75 paintings have been selected from the Hermitage St.-Petersburg. This selection includes paintings by Matisse, Picasso, Van Dongen, De Vlaminck, Derain and many more. Among other paintings you'll find the world famous 'The Red Room' by Henri Matisse and 'Woman with a fan' by Pablo Picasso.
Great Amsterdam Excursion Company offers you the possibility to visit this spectacular new exhibition comfortably and fast with the Hermitage Amsterdam + 48 hrs Museum Line ticket. You will depart from the jetty at the Smits Koffiehuis which is located below the Tourist Information office outside Amsterdam Central Station. Here you will take the 'Golden Age Line' route of the Hop on Hop Off Museum Line to the Hermitage. After your visit to the museum you will board the Museum Line once again to get back to Amsterdam Central Station. You can hop on and off the Museum Line as often as you want within a 48 hrs period. This gives you plenty of time to get from one museum to the next or just enjoy Amsterdam from the water.

De Hermitage Amsterdam is open daily from 10:00 - 17:00 o'clock and on Wednesday until 20:00 o'clock. The Hermitage Amsterdam is closed from February 1st until March 5th 2010 and April 30th 2010.
A public transport ticket from the Airport Schiphol to Amsterdam Central Station is included. It's an 'open' return ticket which means you don't have to go back the same day. You can go back whenever you like.
